Qualified Fishing Guides

We are occasionally looking for enthusiastic fishing guides, who hold a valid NZ ILM ticket or above. The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties:

• Guide one of our 23 feet fishing tenders in Vanuatu and/or NZ
• Assist with maintenance of the mothership as required
• Act as deckhand on Island Passage at times

The succesful applicant will be a team player, who can handle being at sea as part of a small team for approximately 28 days at a time. The position is full time and permanent. Skipper and/or Engineer of Island Passage

We require an engineer for the full term (April - November).  A minimum qualification of NZ Mec 5 or an Australian equivalent is required.  The position needs an individual with wide experience that includes electrical, outboards and air conditioning proficiency, great work habits and the ability to be a team player.  Being in the curise industry prerequisites are communication skills and great personal presentation.  This position is vital to our success and the salary will relect this.

Trainee Fishing Guides

We are occasionally looking for young and enthusiastic fishermen, generally under the age of 19, who are interested in a future as a fishing guide and would be interested in a trainee position within our business.

Chef

We are occasionally looking for chef's to fill in for some part time work to allow our full time chef some time off. We also like to keep resume's of any keen chef's on file for future vacancies.

If you are a qualified chef, and have expereince on boats, and would be interested in being part of our team, please send us send us a current resume.

The above positions are based in the commerce of Vanuatu and will be paid in Vanuatu.  All foreigners working in Vanuatu are required to apply for a work permit.
