After cruising the Hauraki Gulf for over 30 years Island Escape enabled me to totally relax and not have to think about provisioning, catering, and maintaining a boat. Island Escape also gave me an opportunity in meeting with a wide variety of other nationalities to proudly look at the Gulf through their eyes. The Hauraki Gulf is a part of our city, and it amazes me how many Kiwis have not explored these waters. This is a world class cruise that Aucklanders can be very proud of.

After a great but busy day tramping on Great Barrier Island it was wonderful to return to the beach where we wre met with fresh brewed coffee and home made cookies prepared by the chef. A trip of a lifetime. Thanks.

January, 2010 - This was our first visit to NZ (from Australia) and we think our introduction to the Hauraki Gulf with this cruise was first class. The crew, without exception were wonderful. Activities cater for everyone, do as much or as little as you like....we will certainly be recommending this cruise to our friends.
