Waiheke Weekend - 2 Nights Luxury Cruise
This Luxury cruise offers first class excursions, led by expert guides who travel with you and uncover the mysteries of the region's wildlife, guided walks, kayaking, fishing, small boat exploration, shore transfers and island tours. Or you may choose to relax with a good book from the library or laze on a steamer chair in the sun. You decide...
This 2 night cruise includes; luxury accommodation, all onboard chef prepared meals, juices, water, exclusive shore excursions, snorkel equipment, kayaks and small boat exploration, onboard expedition leader, fishing equipment and guides.
The "Island Passage" has accommodation for just 20 guests. The ten spacious en-suite cabins have rich timber panelling and hand made kauri furniture. All are individually styled with original NZ artworks, are fitted with DVD, Audio, TV and air-conditioning. Most have doors opening directly to the outer teak deck. We take much pride in the fact that our cabins are amongst the largest for a ship of this size.
Daily Itinerary
Each day aboard Island Passage is unique and different. The specific programs are decided between 12 and 24 hours in advance, so that activities and expeditions can take into account immediate climatic conditions and other relevant factors such as tides as well as reports we have from the area.
The Cruise Program
Day 1: Friday
You board the ship at 4:30pm at Princes Wharf for a 5:00pm sailing time. After settling into your cabin, champagne and snacks served on the aft deck as we wind our way down the harbour towards Waiheke Island. Perhaps a swim and some exploring at the anchorage in a sheltered bay before dinner is served at 7pm.
Day 2 : Saturday
This morning passengers are either transferred ashore for the Waiheke Wine or Eco tours. You are also welcome to stay onboard and relax in a steamer chair with a book from the library, swim off the ship, explore in a kayak or try your hand at some fishing with our guides. Once all are back onboard we continue our course to the eastern end of the island and anchor for the night at Hooks Bay. There is as much as you wish or as little as you like to do in this beautiful anchorage. Tonight you can share today’s stories with fellow passengers on the aft deck and soak up the sunset over the islands.
See Included Shore Excursions

We pick up anchors in late morning allowing time for visits ashore or early morning swimming, kayaking or snorkeling and make a slow winding course through the nearby islands on our way to Auckland. Brunch is served along the way. We have an arrival alongside our Princes Wharf base at 1.30pm.
